Historical Costume and Pattern Production

Because of our interest in Living History, and our activities with the Brigade of the American Revolution, The Northwest Territorial Alliance, The North American Voyageurs Council, and other groups interested in accuracy in interpretation, we found a need for well documented period clothing patterns for the 18th and early 19th centuries. We were both already involved in making period clothing, and were aware of the problems of cut and construction.

Therefore, we started and own the company called Kannik's KornerTM, and produce a line of documented historical clothing patterns and related hand sewing books.

Our primary period of interest is 1750-1820, but we do research in other periods as well.
