INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
NOTE:
Due to the recent US Postal rate increase, and the changes made in
international mail service, we reserve the right to refuse international
orders if the shipping charges will not cover the cost. We are working to
adjust our shipping schedules, but it will take a great deal of research and
calculating due to the massive changes. We apologize for the possible in
convenience.
Payment
Terms are on-line payment with Visa, MasterCard or PayPal; or mail order
with check or money order in US dollars.
Returns or Exchanges
No returns are accepted for model theater sheets, unless they are shipped to
the buyer with a prior agreement for approval, or obviously damaged in
shipping. If items are damaged in shipping, please keep the shipping
carton, so we can address this with the shipping company.
Returns or exchanges will
only be accepted within 30 days of the original order date and must be in
re-saleable condition. All sales are final after 30 days. A 10% re-stocking
fee will be made on returns made after ten (10) days. No refund of shipping
charges will be made.
All returns or exchanges
require a Return Merchandise
Authorization (RMA), which you can acquire by e-mailing us with a simple
explanation of your problem or need for return. This authorization must be
included with any correspondence and the returned package for processing or
credit.
Some sheets are "antiques"
and others are already aging, and close to becoming "antiques". Some of the
modern reprinted sheets appear aged, because they are taken directly from
original sheets. Minor dogging of the edges may occur, but we will not ship
sheets that are torn or damaged in the printed area without a prior
understanding (such as with an antique sheet).
Taxes and Duty
Sales taxes are currently collected on orders shipping to points within
Ohio. This will soon be collected based on the buyer's tax location, or the
address to which it is shipped, if different.
All duty and Value Added Tax (VAT) or any
other taxes or user taxes, are the buyer's responsibility! Please note that
on foreign orders, we must declare the actual value of the items, in US
dollars, and this will be declared on any customs forms. Shipping charges
are taxable in Ohio, but shipping charges are not included in the value of
the order on customs forms.
If you are unsure of what your country
charges for duty or VAT, please check with your appropriate officials prior
to ordering. We don't want you to have any big surprises when the package
arrives, and we don't want to get the package back because you were not
prepared to pay the fees to receive the package. We generally label the
package as "Printed Matter, sheets for model theater", or something very
similar to this wording.
Please note that there are different rules in
every country. Certain levels of value may arrive un-taxed, but when the
value reaches specific levels, it will automatically be examined by customs.
This is beyond our control, and we follow the laws as best as we can. If you
find it is a problem for you to receive model theater sheets from the US,
please let us know and we will try to find another way for you to purchase
the sheets you would like, possibly from a different source.
Shipping
We ship via US Postal
Service First Class, US Priority with Delivery Confirmation, or UPS at our
discretion. If you have a particular need or preference, please contact us
prior to placing your order, so adjustments can be made for shipping
charges.
International orders may be
sent via economy postal service or air mail, at our discretion, based on
weight and cost. We will attempt to send via air mail first! If you
must have air service, please contact us prior to placing your order
for pricing based on the weight of the order.
Suitability & Guarantees
No guarantees are made as to the suitability for your purpose. If you have
questions about our publications, contact us prior to ordering and we will
try to assist you with more information. No guarantees are made beyond the
replacement or refund of an item, as defined above.
We are not liable for any use
or misuse of any item, nor for any costs or damages incurred through any use
of the item or items.
Please be aware that there may be small
parts, which are unsuitable for small children, especially after the printed
figures have been mounted and or cut out. Keep them away from small children
and pets. Keep all craft knives and pastes away from small children, as
well. Keep your theater activities safe for your family and friends!
