Period Clothing and Accessory Kits

We are now offering some kits for making certain items from our patterns. We hope that offering correct fabrics and notions will help our customers to make better reproductions. Some of the fabrics are difficult to find, so this is a service we hope you will enjoy!

If you have any questions about these items, feel free to contact us.

This head covering is frequently worn over another day cap, such as a round eared cap, and is also worn for un-dress (inside the home) without a cap. It is occasionally seen in paintings worn over a hat. Made of sheer cotton muslin, it can have narrow lace trim, and has a delicate drawstring to gather up the triangular cut into a nicely fitting shape in back. It can be untied for easy laundering.

SPECIAL NOTE!
Our original lace style B has been discontinued by our supplier. We have replaced it with this beautiful style. We are unable to match the former style.

Woman's Grand Coiffe Kit

Adapted from pattern KK-6602

NOTE:
We regret we are unable to offer these kits until further notice, as the beautiful India muslin is not available!
Please check back occasionally, as we will offer these again if we can find another source.
