Terms & Guarantees
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING NOTE:
Due to the recent US Postal rate increase, and the changes made in international
mail service, we
reserve the right to refuse international orders if the shipping charges will
not cover the cost.
We are working to adjust our shipping schedules,
but it will take a great deal of research and calculating due to the massive
changes.
We apologize for the possible in convenience.
Payment
Terms are on-line payment with Visa, MasterCard or PayPal; or mail order with check or money order in US dollars.
Returns or Exchanges
Returns or exchanges will only be accepted within 30 days of the original
invoice date and must be in re-saleable condition. Open patterns will be exchanged only if found to be
defective in printing. All sales are final after 30 days. A 10% re-stocking fee will be made
on returns made after ten (10) days. No refund of shipping charges will be made.
All returns or exchanges require a Return
Merchandise Authorization (RMA), which you can acquire by e-mailing us with
a simple explanation of your problem or need for return. This authorization must
be included with any correspondence and the returned package for processing or
credit.
Shipping
We ship via US Postal
Service First Class, US Priority with Delivery Confirmation, or UPS at our discretion.
If you have a particular need or preference, please contact us prior to placing
your order, so adjustments can be made for shipping charges.
International orders may be
sent via economy postal service or air mail, at our discretion, based on weight
and cost. We will attempt to send via air mail first! If you must
have air service, please contact us
prior to placing your order for pricing based on the weight of the order.
Suitability & Guarantees
No guarantees are made for our patterns or books as to their suitability for your purpose.
If you have questions about our publications, contact us prior to ordering and we will try
to assist you with more information. Open patterns will be exchanged only if found to be
defective in printing. Please check our Notices page for any known corrections to patterns
or books. The Notices page can be linked from any pattern or book catalog listing for
which there is a notice.
No guarantees are made beyond the
replacement or refund of an item, as defined above.
We are not liable for any use of the item, nor for any costs incurred through any use of
the item.
Be sure to make test garments ("muslins") prior to cutting or marking any
garment fabric.
Documentation/Alterations
Please be aware that any alterations or changes in pattern design, including such things
as added drawstrings, will change the garment style, thereby voiding the documentation
which is used to create the pattern! If you need documented garments do not alter the
design without researching your proposed changes to be sure you can document your finished
garment.
