Yesteryear’s Essentials:
Material Culture for War of 1812 Reenacting Conference

April 16-17-18, 2010
at Ft Meigs, Perrysburg, Ohio
(near Toledo, Ohio)

This is the best conference in the mid-west for those interested in the clothing, accoutrements and life of the late 1790s and very early 1800s. It is a wonderful opportunity to get to know others with similar interests, tour the Fort and museum, and learn about living history of the early settlement era in Ohio.

This event generally includes a social hour on Friday evening, speakers and a fashion show on Saturday and hands-on workshops on Sunday.

Please watch the Fort Meigs special events web site for more details and registration!
